Small Bridge

I have been trying for over a year to take a picture of this small stone bridge, with no luck. There's always something off about it. I think I managed to capture it sufficiently in this image and had the fortune of including a lone jogger out for her morning run.

Waiting

I don't know if i'm getting ahead of myself but when are the rest of the leaves going to fall? This is a shot of the trees in our back yard. We've already cleaned the yard twice and the city has begun the annual curbside leaf pickup. I have a feeling i'm going to be stuck with these until spring.

Fall Snapshots

These shots were taken last weekend at Yee Haw Adventure Farm. The weather wasn't the best but we had a good time. Carmel corn, chip truck fries, stilts, pig races, corn mazes and wagon rides.

Forest

I know it's April and it was 22 degrees the other day but I couldn't help posting this pic I took over the winter. I was driving around Cambridge and found a beautiful hotel in the woods. I've visited it many times since hoping one day to frequent it's spa facilities. This shot is of the forest which is on either side of the winding driveway.

Often when Abby was a few months old and I needed to get her to sleep I would put her in the Jeep and drive around for a few hours enjoying the countryside. It was hard getting used to a new place and my vehicle gave me the armor I needed to get out and see things. This picture reminds me of that time.

My Town

The house is quiet. The husband is out and the baby is sleeping. I am left here to think about writing and the small town we live in. Here is a picture I took this past summer while on a walk downtown. It's funny, I never really wanted to move here but the more I explore the more I fall a bit more in love.

This is a reminder of warmer days, lemon tea and sunscreen.
